While I have been acting like it is Fall since Labor Day, the first official day of Fall is this Sunday. In honor of this glorious day I wanted to share one my favorite Fall recipes with you. This is my family’s taco soup recipe (slightly modified by me). It is so easy to make, and so yummy! I probably make this every other weekend once it starts to cool off.
I don’t know about you, but I am in full Fall mode over here (even though technically it’s still two weeks until Fall). I don’t care though. After Labor Day, in my mind, it’s Fall. I have my pumpkins out, my pumpkin scented candle burning every night, and it was actually cool enough for me to make soup this past weekend. I am in heaven.
Happy September! Now that Labor Day is over, football has started, and the pools have closed Fall has started in my mind! I spent the long weekend celebrating turning 25, going to the pool, drinking margs, and watching my Dawgs play. It was wonderful!
I thought it would be fun to start rounding up all of the posts from the past month in case you missed one! I am also going to be sharing a few of my favorite purchases and books I have read the past month in case you’re on the lookout for any of these items!
I have recently become a little obsessed with tennis shoes. I like tennis shoes for working out, running errands, and dressing down outfits. They can be so versatile. In the hope that my obsession can help you, I’ve decided to round up my favorite tennis shoes and review them for you!
Summer and Autumn are my absolute favorite seasons. The weather is perfect and it is just beautiful during both seasons. Jackson and I try to spend a lot of time outside during these seasons before the frigid cold Winter and Spring here in Virginia. We love going to the pool in the Summer, going for an outdoor run, and we go for the occasional hike. The point is to be outside, together, and often doing something active.
Planning out your meals each week and prepping the food ahead of time can seem very overwhelming. Trust me, I know. Meal planning and meal prepping can save you so much time and money though, and it can really help you stay on track if you’re trying to eat healthy!
A couple of weeks ago Jackson and I went to Boston for a long weekend with my parents. It was such a great trip for so many reasons. We’ve never been to Boston, it had been a while since I had seen my parents, and we’ve never been on a trip just us and my parents. We had the best time!
Happy Tuesday! Today I wanted to share this awesome outfit with you I wore on my recent travels to Boston. Seriously, I could live in this. It is perfect for going straight from a plane to sightseeing (which is what I did), to run errands, or to grab a bite to eat. The possibilities are endless!
